Aroma Dough Giveaway!

This is SOOOO Exciting! I have ANOTHER giveaway!

A few days ago, I posted my review of gluten free play doughs. Aroma Dough was one of the companies whose product I reviewed and Diane (one of the founders and a fellow mom!) has so generously offered to give away a Splat Mat Set to one of my lucky readers! Woo Hoo! Just in time for the holidays…what an awesome stocking stuffer!

The Splat Mat Set includes: 3 cookie cutters, rolling pin, 11×17 Splat mat and 4 assorted gluten free tubs of Aroma Dough. The retail value of this set is $25.95!

I want to share a little more information on Aroma Dough because I really think they are an amazing company with a unique product. The following highlighted sections are from the Aroma Dough Website:

It DOES NOT contain nuts, nut oils, perfumes, soy, dairy products or wheat.

This GF play dough is AMAZING! I can only imagine how this dough would be beneficial, not only for all children (and adults alike!) but especially for children who can benefit from the sensory stimulation of the intensely inviting and relaxing aromas, the moisturizing oils in the dough that keep your hands very soft (NOT greasy!) and the bright, vivid colors. I know what I am putting in the goodie bags for Sam and Luke’s birthday parties this year!

Considering the affect Aroma Dough had on me, (I felt very calm, focused and relaxed) I think this would also be a great gift for companies to give their employees during these stressful economic times! Think of it as the new stress ball! 😀

Comments

  1. Buddy Butterscotch; scented as butterscotch candy; golden brown color.

    createwithme@clearwire.net

  2. Susan TenEyck says

Color: Color changing from yellow to blue and vice-versa (depending on if it is cold or warmed by the heat of your hands!)

    Scent: Blue Raspberry Lemonade

    Character name: Blemon

  3. Royal Blue, smell like coconut or some other cool warm beach smell, called Sea Dreams

Thanks for such a cool giveaway!

  4. I think a green colored dough would be fun. Mint scented or a red/ white color scented peppermint. Hmm, a name could be calledWwintergreen (sorry not very original) and the peppermint one could be called Pepperminty (again, names are not my strong suit) But I love those scents. Thanks for the giveaway. I have 4 kids and we would love to win!

  5. I love the smell of black licorice (anise) and think it is very peaceful. I think that would be a great smell with a black colored dough. Maybe it could be called Silent Night for the holidays. Thanks for the chance to win!!

  6. Suzette Reagan says

    Plum Pals

The great scent of purple plums for spring and spruce it up for the holidays to "Sugar Plum Pals."

  7. My favorite scent by far is fresh orange zest so a bright orange dough with a an orange scent and perhaps call the character Sunshine of GoldieLocks after the Sunshine or Golden States where most oranges come from.

  8. Color: Purple (not too vibrant)

    Scent: Lavendar/Vanilla

    Name: Violet Val

I think this would be great for kids with sensory issues. Sometimes scents can come on a little strong, and this would be something these kids could handle a little easier.

  9. I would like a lavender scented dough to play with before bedtime. Lavender is a very calming scent and could help with the transition for a busy day to quiet play to bedtime. The clay does not need to be lavender or purple in color, but maybe a peaceful blue. Sweet Dreams would be a good name for it.

  10. My kids love the smell of banana bread. Perhaps a sunny yellow color (not neon) with a subtle banana bread or banana smell, with a monky as a mascot.

    Anyone feel like 'monkeyin' around'?

  11. What a fun contest! How about a chocolate scent? It could be dark brown/black. The character can be Bittersweet Pete.

  12. Shelley Orenstein says

    bubblegum or banana.

  13. My 9 yr. old grandson came up with "Mellow Mint Chocolate". A chocolate mint flavor, brown color (of course)! He said he needs a brown color for making log cabins, tree trunks, gingerbread boys, and he'd love to smell the mellow mint with the chocolate smell too!

  14. I love this contest too! I think a white play-dough with rainbow sprinkles in the middle would be alot of fun! And for the name in Rainbowlicious or Srinklelicious. The scent could be like a birthday cake scent! Yum!!!

  15. Simply Sunshine, colored yellow and lemon scented
    zachsgran1 at yahoo dot com

  16. light pink vanilla -ice cream scent
we all scream for ice cream

  17. I went back and checked the Aroma Dough website and it looks like they already have white, purple, pink, brown, red, yellow, orange, blue, and green. Their current green is a bright lime green and I was thinking maybe they need a darker, more true "Christmas green". The character could be a little guy with a green cape with a tree or plant symbol on his shirt. He could be called, "Go Go Green" to symbolize the Go Green Movement. The scent could be spearmint, fresh and natural, just like Aroma Dough!

  18. Scent: Cinnamon Essential Oil, with many a little sweetness note to it.

Color: A rich yet vibrant Burnt Orange color (that may remind consumers of tree leaves as they change in the fall)

Character Name: Wonder Cinn. The character would be a strong little female Super Hero toon with a Dark Green Suit, golden yellow cape, and big "C" on her chest. (Posed similarly to "S" man) She represents all the great "Anti" properties health benefits of this oil. She's always on the look out to stimulate, detox, and positively impact all that "knead" her. Wonder Cinn helps save your play!

    Additional info about this oil.

Properties: Anti bacterial, anti fungal, anti microbial, astringent, anti clotting, stimulating, cooling, carminative

Health Benefits: Brain tonic, respiratory problems, skin infections, blood impurity, blood circulation, infections, healing, pain relief, birth control, menstruation problems, breastfeeding, heart disorders, diabetes, colon cancer, indigestion, mouth freshener

    • Ahh! I had no idea the contest was over, till I just read the bottom on the home page. 🙁 It wasn't noted above. I happened upon this great site while surfing GF info online. Man. I spent at least 45 minutes researching, and coming up with the whole concept. Oh well. Congrats to the winner. Maybe they'll keep some of our ideas in mind for the future.

Happy Holidays to all. I plan to visit this site again. Our household just recent went GF.

  19. Could you post the recipe for the "POPCORN BALLS" made with strawberry or cherry jello?

I think this would be great for the up coming holidays.

    Thanks,

    Tookie

  20. White or beige, Sandy Dandy. I'd like a lighter color, even if it does wash out, so I won't care where it's used.
