Does this look like an illusion? I thought so when I first saw it, but apparently, it is not!
Want to know more? Check out Tiffany Janes article over at Celiac-Disease.com!
Tiffany brought up some very good points in her article about how the bread *might* be displayed in grocery stores, especially the concern about potential cross-contamination if the Gluten-Free Nature’s Own bread is placed in the regular bread aisle (I usually try to avoid that aisle myself, it makes me itch just thinking about it! 😉 ).
What do you think? Be sure to leave Tiffany a comment!
And welcome to my blog!
Whether you're here looking for advice on how to go gluten free (with delicious kid-approved recipes of course!), or to read some of the latest medical research on celiac disease and non-celiac gluten sensitivity...or even to read about one woman's rise from the depths of gluten-free despair to a place of downright enthusiasm, it makes no matter. The point is, you are here now so let's have some fun!
WOW, I'd be afraid of CC too…but cool.
Craaaa-zy!
Thanks, Heidi — I'd probably not have believed it if I'd just seen it on a bread aisle shelf in a store!
My son holds his breath when we walk past the bread aisle!
Wendy,
LOL! Good Boy!! 😀
We already scoped out our grocery store for it but it's not there yet…
Casey, are you in the Atlanta area?
Nope, Tampa.
Casey,
I believe they are going to test market the bread in Atlanta first to see how well it does before going nationwide with it.
Cross Contamination is a fear factor for sure.
I do not worry as much about location in a store (since it is well wrapped), but I do worry about who makes it and where and in which facility.
Ah, the sanctuary of a 100% dedicated gluten free facility.
