Great video. As you probably already know, I'm a big fan of Jamie Oliver and his revolution, but I think this is another way to reach out and get this message to more people!
Thanks for commenting Alta, I always worry about making posts like this, but when I saw this last night, I was just so moved that I wanted to share it. I love what Jamie is doing too and we can all help him out just by spreading some awareness. This is a video I found on YouTube and if folks want to, they can share it on their Facebook page, personal blogs, send emails, etc.
Jamie made a great point in the video, how can people change if they don't know how? 🙂 I was not taught how to cook by my mom, she was not a fan of cooking. I did not go to culinary school nor do I have any professional training in cooking. Everything I know is self taught by watching cooking shows, like Jamie's, and finding tutorials on the internet.
Anyone can cook, if they know how. 🙂
I saw this last night. I love what Jamie is doing and I love how Alice is now his partner in crime! I was shocked that the schools were doing "junk food Fridays"! I am going to post on Facebook. 🙂
Hey Kim!
You know, I think this is how change can really be made… telling our friends! 🙂
Good video. Thanks for posting it.
Maggie,
You are welcome! Maybe you could share it on your Facebook page? 🙂
He makes some powerful points clearly and effectively! We certainly need to move in this direction for our own and our children's sakes. Can we light a fire in our communities that will inspire more people to teach this and share this? One person at a time, sharing with one or two people at a time, can quickly spread across a multitude, so let's start by being one person, sharing…now.
Rock on Pat!
One person and one step at a time. 🙂
I'm so glad you are spreading the word. This message is so important. I know I get emotional about these things, but I have to say Jamie Oliver's talk had me in tears. Totally inspirational! Will share.
Thanks Todd!
Jamie's message brought tears to my eyes too!! Glad to know I am in good company, LOL! I strongly believe, if we all just do one thing, one… change IS possible… when you experience change, hope just comes alive and anything is possible. I believe it in my heart. 🙂
