Newly Diagnosed with Celiac Disease?

If so, and you are not sure which step to take next or if you are feeling overwhelmed by all of the information available out there and cannot determine which is truth or fiction, Dr. Oz is here to help!

If you are willing to share your story on camera, click here and fill out the appropriate information.

A quick ramble if I may. I am so excited about this for those of you that are just getting diagnosed. Just in the 5 years since I was diagnosed, the GF community has advanced LIGHT YEARS. After I was handed my diagnosed, I was pretty much told “good luck to ya.”

There were not many bloggers yet, Facebook and Twitter did not exist. It was a rather lonely place to be, which certainly did not help me embrace my new life plan. I get goosebumps just thinking about all the wonderful people I have met and the friends I have made who are just like me and truly understand what it is like to brown bag it to a dinner party! LOL! I can pull up to the Starbucks drive thru and if I did not know what I could have, I could Tweet the question, “Is a Starbucks Pumpkin Latte GF?” Within seconds, my “GF Tweeps” would start responding. How cool is that? My GF buddy in Ohio would be with me virtually in a New Mexico Starbucks Drive Thru!

Blows my mind. 🙂

The gluten free community really is a family of sorts. We want to share new products, ideas, recipes and the like to help make life more enjoyable and healthy for all of us. We are each others biggest cheerleaders. So reach out, we are here to help if we can or in the very least, be a shoulder to lean on.

So here’s to a new “adventure in life,” the journey to good health and hopefully many more years of happiness with our friends and loved ones.

Oh yeah, and to be the lucky person who gets to meet Dr. Oz! WOO HOO!
